I have been photographing weddings now for more than ten years at a professional level, my first, at Dawdon church in Seaham, Co. Durham during the summer of 1995.

However I was a part timer in those days, what we call a "Weekend Warrior" in the trade, fitting weddings in between offshore work.

Becoming a bit long in the tooth for clambering ships rigging, I studied full time at Aberdeen College for two years and graduated with an HND photography & digital imaging during 2002, beginning trading as Smudgesphotos the same year.

Having recently relocated back to my birthplace of Seaham and seeing the lack of a trained/qualified photographers I'de like to offer my services to the townspeople.

I'm a member of no organisation's BIPP SWPP etc etc. as I dont think membership offers any benefits as anyone can join, you dont even need to have a camera.

I can repair to a professionally accepted standard damaged and torn photographs, bear in mind I need an image of sorts to begin with. Not everything can be saved.
